The first meeting of Dr. Mona with students
On Monday, 04.29.1434 H
at 12:20 pm in Yanbu University College (female campus), the first meeting
between Dr. Mona Al-Juhani and the students of all levels was held. The meeting
was to discuss and answer the students questions on various topics that relate
to studying or any matter which relates to the students on the campus. In
addition, to receive all the suggestions and complaints of students to improve
the university environment.
At the beginning of the
meeting, which lasted for an hour, Dr. Mona thanked the students who attended
early, including members of the public relations club. Then the meeting began.
Some of the main topics discussed:

The absence of a list of all the laws that the student needs to know
about their rights and obligations.
-
Dormitory.
-
Lack of the preparatory year students' knowledge about the number of
absences allowable for them.
-
Lack of cleanliness and the high cost of restaurants available on the
campus.
-
Final year training.
-
Unused college facilities like health club.
-
Ineffectiveness of the college library in terms of the acute shortage
of books and references and the inadequate computers.
At the end of the
meeting, the students thanked Dr. Mona. Also, they demanded to make this
meeting periodically, and Dr. Mona welcomed this idea.
In conclusion, we ask God to help and
guide for all.
TEDxYUC
Build_your_self Club at Yanbu University College (campus students) launched TEDx eventon Sunday: 3 / March / 2013.
The event was attended by a wide range of students and professors who are interested
On the beginning, creative student (Bayan Al-Ghamdi) explained to the attendees the idea of TEDx, and that this event will be held every Sunday from 12:20 pm to 1:20 pm
She said also that their activity during this Term will be only an introduction to TEDXs and in the next year will begin TEDX conferences within the college.
After that an introductory video and collection videos of some speakers for their stories and personal experiences such as: Neil Basriche and Sarah Kay and Neil Harbison were presented.

Finally, they distributed a questionnaire to get feedback from the audience, the number of attendees, and their comments and concerns to take them into account in the next Sunday.

serious injuries which required surgery during the last three months...
we were very happy when we saw her
response to our visit and she praised (ALLAH) for the improvement in her health
